Bayon, not only beautiful, but also cheerful.

We have breakfast in in Cambodia in the restaurant of yesterday. We get rice soup, lots of dried fish, a tasty breakfast.
The coffee from the shop next door is a bit less, espresso with a lot of milk.

We are going to Angkor Wat. The road to Angkor Wat is extremely busy with mainly cars from Phnom Phen, so it takes a while before we get there.
Also at Angkor Wat itself it is very busy, looking around quietly is not possible. Despite the crowds, Angkor Wat makes an impression, and we were able to take pictures.
When we leave, we stop at a small restaurant where we eat reasonably tasty food.

We drive to the next temple, Ta Prohm Kel, where restoration work is still going on. There are far fewer people than at Angkor Wat, this is actually much more fun.
Finally we stop at the Bayon temple, where luckily it's not that busy either.
In fact, we would have to go back to Siem Reap some time to have a good look at all those temples. Who knows, maybe it will happen.

We eat at a restaurant in Siem Reap and we send the driver home so that he can celebrate New Year's Eve with his family.

When we are back in the Borey Rattanak Hotel it appears that the air conditioning in the family room is not made.
We ask for a discount due to the inconvenience, and we can get 15% of the price of the family room or 70% if we leave immediately. That is not a choice because there is no room left in Siem Reap.
We are angry and stay at the hotel for the rest of the evening. It was still fun.
